Welcome to 1st Newent Scouts

Our aim is to provide young people between the ages of 4 and 14 somewhere to learn new skills for life and have fun whilst learning. If you have a child, or children, who are between the ages of 4 and 14, who want to learn new skills in a safe and friendly environment, then please get in contact with us by clicking here.

Adventure doesn’t just stop with the young people, we’re are always on the lookout for adult volunteers to join our team. If you feel you have time to give each week to help and support the children, you could become one of our volunteer leaders. Even if you can only help once a month, you could still join our volunteer team as an occasional helper. If you still want to get involved in the scouting movement but not with the young people sections we have committee roles available in order to help with administration, grant hunters and maintenance.

Our headquarters is located in Newent, Gloucestershire behind the Glebe Community Centre accessed via Old Station Road.
