Volunteer

Volunteering does not only benefit us, bit benefits you by helping with mental health and wellbeing and so a sense of community. Alll our roles offer flexibility and full training. If you have children in the group we offer a discount the child’s subscription while you volunteer with us as a thank you. As a thank you if your Child(ren) are currently on a waiting list your child will be given prority, also we discount fee’s for Children of parents that volunteer.

Non-uniformed roles

Treasurer

The Treasurer role is one of the most important roles. This role is responsible for the financial status if the group. Working with Section leaders to ensure that subscriptions have been paid, ensuring that things like volunteer expenses are paid in a timely manner.

Estimated Volunteering time 1 to 2 hours a week.

Uniformed Roles

Due to the continued growth of the group, 1st Newent is looking for Section Assistants for Squirrels Children aged 4 to 6, Beavers Children Aged 6 to 8 and Cubs Children aged 8-10

Estimated Volunteering time 2 hours a week term time.
